Call of Duty: Modern Warfare3 Review

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!!!! No not Christmas but Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 of course. So want to know more about the COD franchise’s newest game? Well let’s hop right into it.

There is a reason why the Call of Duty franchise is successful. Not because of hype as some would say, not because of a cool name, and most certainly not because it is your average shooter. The franchise that is Call of Duty brings us shooters that are above and beyond the reproach of your average shooter. With the combination of designers from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games they have made the best COD game to date in the from of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The single player mode is what you would expect it to be as all the other cod predecessors with its highs and lows and you can see it is running on an old gaming engine but you can’t help but anticipate a massive explosion or a nuke going off and see an array of gaming goodness. The story plot itself is amazing. We see WW3 taking place in modern history with the Battle of New York taking place then bringing the fight all over the world from all over Europe including Brittan,France,GermanyandRussia. We also see the epic conclusion of John “Soap” Mactavish and the iconic John Price as they hunt down and eventually kill Makarov who started the war. I won’t spoil the story for you if you haven’t played it but the road to victory does not come cheap. Either way the game still has its “shoot people move forward” kind of game play to it but it is definitely with the time to check it out.

The Spec ops modes and Survival modes are amazing. I won’t spend too much time talking on these things but all I have to say is WOW!!!! The missions that you play have to do with the single player game play on the other side which include missions like stealing the Russian President’s daughter and high jacking a plane. Not to mention the training time trial in the beginning is absolutely amazing and give you an ending with a twist that make you say “HOLY SH*T!!!!” The survival mode is the MW3 version of zombies, horde, and firefight from other games. You and one friend face wave after wave on enemy forces in which you have to kill. It’s basically like any game mode as I just stated but you can buy helicopters and other support weapons in which make your life a lot easier. Not to mention Survival Mode is achievement city.
