gear of course. With the release of the most anticipated game of the year comes
a special line of videogaming accessories. Lets take a look at some of the most
popular mw3 gaming goodies you want under your Christmas tree.
Almost everyone has heard of turtle beach headsets and what
wonders they do for in-game audio. Turtle beach has come up with a MW3 custom
style for their Bravo model. This model shows the MW3 logo with MW3 black and
an embroidered headband. It is also has
customized audio settings just for MW3. This little stocking stuffer will cost
you about $180 but I would say it’s a buy. Check out this link to learn more about them: GameStop
Munito has come out with a specially designed earphones. We
did mention these in the news a while back but lets refresh your memory.
Basically their earphones like the ones you get at the store on steroids.
Basically surround sound quality with the mw3 logo and mw3 black. Oh and not to
mention the look like the 9mm pistol round. The only downside to this is that
these are not compatible with videogame consoles but they’re still a good buy.
These will run you about $90. Check out this link to see them: GameStop
Gunnar has developed an mw3 themed glasses that reduce video
game fatigue. They have the MW3 logo with carrying case. The glasses are
colored in the mw3 silver with the black ear hooks. These bad boys should cost
you about $100 bucks. Check out this link to learn more about them:Â Gunnars.com

This Friday had a decent amount of videogame goodies. Video game retailer GameStop will start to stream games in 2012. GameStop had been working with technologies from Spawn Labs which will allow the streaming of video games to PCs, consoles, and TVs with an internet connection. The new streaming service is currently in the beta testing stage but very little information is being released to the public on how the testing is going. GameStop has announced that the service will soon be in stores for customers to test out new games before purchasing them. Some rumors have stirred up that customers can try the new streaming system in stores this November when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes out but we all know as much as we would like to believe that to be true most rumors in the gaming business turn out to be false or not entirely true. GameStop did say that the streaming service will be available for purchase in 2012.
This gaming spin off of Netflix could definitely change the way we get videogames. If you think about it from a historical perspective, video games at home stared out with big bulky video game systems and the games came in what was called “cartridges” and they were the size of your hand or bigger. Now soon you will be able to stream games right to your gaming console or TV.
Gamescom 2011 is now finishing up and we saw many goodies out from there. From Playstation we saw some good footage from Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, and Playstation showed off its new handheld Vita with some LittleBigPlanet action. On the Xbox front we saw the combat trailer from Mass Effect 3, saw some Assassins Creed Revelations, Saints Row 3, and we saw the use of the Xbox 360 Kinect with Kinect: Star Wars. Not too much was seen on the Nintendo front with the exception of the new Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Mario and Starfox 64 remakes going 3D. We also saw many PC games such as Dota 2 and Star Wars the Old Republic. But by far the best thing at Gamescom 2011 had to be Battlefield 3. The trailers and game play that was revealed to us was outstanding and presented to us the way a college professor would teach his or her lesson for the day. If you have not seen the trailer for Battlefield 3 yet check it out.
For all you Halo fanatics out there, 343 Industries in partnership with IGN and Microsoft Game Studios has announced on August 26-28 there will be “Halo Fest” at PAX. Halo Fest will celebrate ten years of UNSC Marines, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, Spartan IIs and Spartan IIIs saving the world from the tyranny of the covenant. Check out the Halo Fest trailer below.
