So who wants 150 points ??? Well, if you do then be then first person to get 5 new people to join GamingCollege. For those of you that don’t feel like looking in the Cash Out, 100 points can get you:

Getting Ready For MW3

Lets get ready for MW3 with a COD: Black Ops Free For All Tournament for the Xbox 360 and PS3. There will be three rounds. The first round will be a minimum 6 people. The second round will be the top 4 from the first round. The third and final round will consist of the top 2 players from the second round.

1st place = 75 points
2nd place = 50 points
3rd place = 25 points

Call of Duty Black Ops Hide N Seek Tournament

Call of Duty Black Ops Hide N Seek Tournament

“Every man for themselves Hide and Seek Tournament in Call of Duty Black Ops. Each person will take a turn seeking there will be as many matches as there are .

POINTS – The hiders will gain points based on how long they survive. The first person found receives 0 points for that match, next one out receives 1 point, and so on. After everyone takes a turn being the seeker, the points are tallied and the winner chosen.

BRACKET – If there are more than 10 people in the tournament, multiple rounds (separate games) will be played with the top half of players moving to the next round. [EX: 11 players will result in a game of 5 and 6, top 3 from each moving on]

GAMEPLAY – A custom game-type will be setup with the good team (SOG, Black Ops) being the hiders and the bad team (NVA, ) being the seeker.

-The seeker will spawn across the map and must go the the edge of the map directly behind and face the outside of the map and shoot to signal to the hiders where the seeker is ‘counting’. -The players will have no more than 2 minutes to find their spots before the seeker begins.” gottabreathe

Black Ops High Roller Tournament

This is our first High Roller Tournament for the Xbox 360, you must buy in before you are accepted into the tournament group. The “Buy In” is only $5 and the winner gets $30 to GameStop. To “Buy In”, first send a,”Request Membership” for the group then head over to the High Roller Tournaments page under the Tournaments tab. Once your “Buy In” has been accepted you will then be accepted into the group. *** MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ENTER ***

High Roller Tournaments

GamingCollege will start to have new tournaments, High Roller Tournaments. High Roller Tournaments are where members ”buy in” (not all tournaments have the same buy in) with cash or points into a tournament. Buying in with cash (MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ENTER), winner(s) can win prizes such as a PS3, a Xbox 360, various video games, Turtle Beach headsets, giftcards and other amazing prizes. Buying in with points, the winner(s) receives there points back, as well as additional points for winning the tournament.

Epic Video Contest

Our newest contest is going to be a video contest. What we want from you is the most epic Halo Reach or Call of Duty: Black Ops video that you have. Now this doesn’t mean we just want twenty vids of QUAAAAAAAAD. We will accept any epicness that you have. If it is you throwing a grenade and getting a killaminjaro or getting five headshots with five sniper shots, then that is just as good as a WTF moment or a hilarious clip.

  • All videos must be submitted by August 29th
  • In the group just put in what game, your Gamertag/PSN username and what slot in your fileshare the video is.
  • There is no time limit
  • You may enter both contests
The winner for each contest will receive 50 points!
To join the contest just join the group.

Back To School Tournaments

As the summer winds down, we all have to get ready for school and the hell it brings. But we here at GamingCollege, we decided to have two Back To School Tournaments!

The first tournament will be Free for All Black Ops for the 360.

The second tournament will be FIFA 11 for the PS3.

The winner will receive a whopping 150 pts and the runner up will get 50 pts.
