Skyrim Update 1.3

 

Bethesda released patch 1.03 earlier today. Last week the patch was release on Steam, it is now on Xbox Live. The patch will be released later today on PSN. The Patch 1.03 fixes all of the following:

  • General Stability improvements
  • Optimize performance for Core 2 Dou CPUs (PC)
  • Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
  • Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
  • Fixed Issues with placing books on bookshelves inside player homes
  • Fixed Dragon animation issues with saving and loading
  • Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

This patch does not fix skyrims lag issues. Bethesda said that the lag issues will be fixed in future updates. Gamers who play on PC Bethesda has promised ”support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware)” will be coming in another patch later this week.

Darksiders II

Back to Karkand

Today the Battlefield 3 Add-on  was release for Playstation 3 owners. the Add-on will be released for Xbox Live and PC gamers on December  13th. The Add-on comes with four new multiplayer maps with enhanced levels of destruction, the maps are Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula. the Add-on also comes with ten new weapons which are Famas, HK53, QBB-95, QBU-88, PP-19, L85A2, QBZ-95B, MG36, L96, and the MK3A1. There are three new vehicles, five new dog tags, and if your a Trophy/Achievement collector the add-on has five new trophies/achievements. The Add-on will be free if you pre-ordered Battlefield 3 or bought the Limited Edition, if you didn’t pre-order the game or you didn’t buy the Limited edition the map pack will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15.

Mandatory BF3 PC update!

Dice has revealed that a mandatory 2+ GB update will be released tommarow for the PC version of Battlefield 3.
The update fixes bugs and balance tweaks. It is a big update mainly because of the Back to Karkand.

Here is a list of what the update has fixed/added:

Fixed a problem with spawn timer now showing blue border on startup and lost spawn point
Fixed a problem where player who joined queuing on End of round got spawn screen stuck on screen, but unable to do anything with it untill next round loaded
Fixed a problem where camera would change to 3rd person on killcam when killcam was turned off in server settings
Fixed stat references on several dogtags
Fixed for surveillance ribbon not counting TUGS
Fixed a missing combat area lines on the minimap for Grand Bazaar conquest small
Moved a tank spawn in US base on Caspian Border so it would not be destroyed by a falling tree
Fixed a problem where placing C4 with the russians soldier was playing US faction VO
Fixed a problem where TV guided missiles could be shot into its own helicopter and destroy it
Fixed a problem when attempting to fire lock on weapons without a target
Tweaked the chat, it should now be a bit easier to read

Sony 4.0 Update

Sony released their update 4.00. The update is primarily for the upcoming handheld from Sony, the PS Vita. Sony has also included some changes from privacy settings to Playstation plus settings. Yet many fans are disappointed in what Sony has done with this update. Some fans were probably expecting the XMB (Xross Media Bar) to change, or maybe even adding some new Apps. Here are All of the things that were added during update:

~PlayStation Plus members can now choose to enable or disable each automatic —- -update feature
-Game patches
-System software
-Recommended games and videos
-Sync trophy information

~New PlayStation Network settings for filtering friend requests and messages

~Delete PS VIta System’s Backup Files
*If you choose to store your PlayStation Vita data on the PS3, you will now be able to delete the backup data by going to the System Settings

~Easy Access to PlayStation Plus from the XMB

Uncharted 3 UPDATE

Yesterday (Nov.27) Naughty Dog released a patch 1.02. The patch of course fixed a lot of problems and adding some things in the game. Naughty Dog added an Alternate Aim settings to the Camera Options menu in single player, also adding a cut scene viewer in the bonus menu and some few things below is a list of all the things fixed and added.

Single Player:
General
*Movie cutscene viewer added (in the Bonuses menu, Single-Player only)
Technical
*Fixed the missing Motion Blur effects (for Single Player only)
“Alternate Aim Settings” added to the Options menu under Camera options (for Single Player only)

Multiplayer:
General
*Settings bug fixed: all controls being set to flipped mode setting will no longer change all controls back to default

Gameplay:
*Medal streaks won’t reset if the host migrates to another user
*Blindfire targeting adjusted so that opposing players past a certain vertical angle above and below won’t be hit.
*Allow grenade throw while scoped
*Tuned Pull Down range from 1.5 meters to 2.0 meters
*Lowered the player running speed when players run ‘n gun by approximately 15%
*Slightly increased the turn radius of run ‘n gun

Skyrim Update

The Skyrim Patch is now out for Playstation 3 users in Europe and it will soon be out in the United States. The Patch addresses a number of problems user’s have since the release of the game. PC and Xbox 360 user’s will get the patch on November 30th.

Here are the issues being fixed in Skyrim:

  • UPDATE 1.2 NOTES (all platforms unless specified)
  • Improved occasional performance issues resulting from long term play (PlayStation 3)
  • Fixed issue where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to drive (Xbox 360)
  • Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz (PC)
  • Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away
  • Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player’s wedding dead
  • Dragon corpses now clean up properly
  • Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack
  • Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug
  • Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely
  • Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory
  • Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor
  • Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death
  • ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)
  • Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)
  • General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls (PC)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Collector’s Edition

Square Enix has revealed the collector’s edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2 or also known as Final Fantasy 13-2. The Collector’s edition comes with FFXIII-2, it will include a four disc soundtrack and an art book showing concept artwork from FFXIII-2, featuring drawings, environments and more.Final Fantasy 13-2 will be released on January 31, 2012. the Collector’s edition will be available in limited quantities at Gamestop, Amazon, and Best Buy for $79.99. Also each retailer will have their own pre-order bonus.

Gamestop’s pre-order bonus will unlock a costume for Serah. Amazon’s pre-order bonus will unlock a unique boss battle at the coliseum against Omega. Following this battle Omega will join your party along with the rest of the monsters that can be recruited and trained throughtout the campaign. Pre-Orders at Best Buy will come with a hardcover book titled Final Fantasy XIII Episode 1, a novel that bridges the events between the original Final Fantasy XIII and its sequels.

Crazy People on Black Friday

On November 25th, 2011 (Black Friday) in a Los Angeles * a women* in Walmart pepper sprayed about ten to twenty Black Friday Shoppers in different areas of the store. One incident involved her pepper spraying a large number of people in and area where *the employee’s* just put out discounted Xbox 360’s. Man people can get way out of hands on Black Friday, I mean come on its just Sales, but if there was a Huge TV for bout $100 then I may consider it. At around 8:30 pm on Friday she surrendered to the police. The woman has not been identified. On the same day in San Leandro, California at 1:50 am a man was shot in the parking lot at a wal-mart for refusing to give up his items that he had bought to a group of thugs.In Kissimmee, Florida, two men fought over jewelry deals at a Walmart. Police arrived at the store a little after 1 a.m. to break up the fight. One man was arrested when he resisted as officers tried to escort him out of the store.
